Abstract
⺠Fullerene-like nanoparticles are obtained by laser ablation of MoS2 in liquid. ⺠The presence of MoOx plays a crucial role in the formation pathway. ⺠Absence of dissolved oxygen in the liquid inhibits the formation of IF nanoparticles.
