Abstract
► We simulated heat and mass transfer, fluid flow during laser dissimilar welding. ► Fluid flow significantly influences temperature field close to the heat source. ► Mass transport is more quickly at the top surface than cross section. ► The speed of mass transport is the highest during the initial stage of melting.
