Abstract
												- Highly uniform Fe-TiO2 thin films were deposited on glass using sol-gel hot-dipping technique.
- The photocatalytic properties were studied upon UV and visible irradiation.
- By Fe doping into TiO2 structure, its microbial performance was prolonged even after stopping the illumination.
- Due to Fe doping, the significant improvement in bactericidal coating was evident.
