Abstract
► Zn0.97−xCuxCr0.03S nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. ► Synthesized ZnS:(Cr,Cu) nanoparticles were in cubic phase. ► Luminescence quenching was observed in doped samples compared to the undoped samples. ► FTIR spectra excludes that intact EDTA simply coexists with the ZnS nanoparticles. ► Enhancement of RTFM was observed in Cu co-doped samples.
