Abstract
The introduction of iodide in I2@PANI-CdS photoelectric hybrid nanocomposite greatly improves the photocurrent response by improving the charge transfer and slowing down the recombination with injected photoelectrons. The photocurrent response of as-prepared nanocomposite could be improved from 2.86 to 5.65Â mA/cm2 with increasing the content of iodide from 0 to 3.0%.
