Abstract

- We prepare two PbS/ZnO nanocomposite photocatalyts with different interface.
- The PbS/ZnO interface plays important role in UV-vis-IR photodetection performance.
- Disordered ZnS layer between PbS and ZnO considerably decreases photocurrent.
- We reveal the origin of the interface effect on photodetection.
