Abstract
⺠Magnetron sputtering enables deposition of a quasicrystalline AlCuFe coating on titanium alloy. ⺠AlCuFe coating exhibits higher hardness than the substrate material. ⺠AlCuFe coating improves oxidation resistance of the TIMETAL 834 alloy at 750 °C.
