Abstract
Ni nanoparticles (∼35 nm) were deposited on SiNWs arrays by electroless plating technique. The magnetic properties of Ni/SiNWs are investigated. The saturation magnetization of Ni/SiNWs deviated from modified Bloch's law at 5 K. Paramagnetic defects had influence on magnetic properties at low temperature.
