Abstract
⺠Structural and magnetic properties of Pt are investigated. ⺠Pt-Co intermixing region increases with decreasing the Pt layer thickness. ⺠The interface atoms are polarized by direct Pt-Co hybridization. ⺠An induced magnetism for Pt layers was quantitatively studied.
