Abstract
⺠The use of AFM and micro-Raman is a great complement for the corrosion studies. ⺠The aluminium content of each phase affects the formation of the corrosion products. ⺠γ2 phase suffers dealuminization, while αⲠexhibit a high corrosion stability. ⺠CuCl2 and a Cu2O/CuO surface film are the stable products formed after long times.
