Abstract
By incorporating a surface modifier (Li2SiO3) on the surface of photoelectrode via a simple soaking process, a power conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell with Li2SiO3-modified TiO2/FTO was improved by 10.58% compared to 9.20% for the reference device with pristine TiO2/FTO film, resulting from a negative shift of the conduction band edge (CBE) of TiO2.
