Abstract
▶ Films containing Cu present the structure of nanorods. ▶ Cu doping increases the crystallinity of the films. ▶ Absorption edges of Cu doped NiO films exhibit an obvious red-shift. ▶ The film with the Cu/Ni molar ratio of 1:8 has better electrochromic properties. ▶ Cu-doped films show better reversibility and faster response time.
