Abstract
▶ Evolution of micro-arc oxidation behaviors was systematically and roundly studied. ▶ The ingrown and outgrown thicknesses of the ceramic coatings were studied. ▶ The ratio of ingrown/outgrown thicknesses was investigated. ▶ Main phenomenon during the PEO process was analyzed referring to Dittrich model.
