Abstract
A novel modified anode with Fe/ferric oxide deposition is utilized to construct marine benthic microbial fuel cell (BMFC) to generate higher voltage (1.0 â¼Â 1.1 V) and power output than that of plain BMFC. Both chemical and microbial enhancement mechanism is proposed to present an explanation.
