Abstract
- A novel multiwalled carbon nanotube based molecular imprinted polymer was prepared for the trace detection of 2,4-D.
- Carbon nano tube helps high selectivity.
- The sensing membrane was developed for 2,4-D using PVC matrix.
- The imprinted polymer inclusion membrane (IPIM) sensor responds in the range of 1Â ÃÂ 10â9-1Â ÃÂ 10â5Â M.
- The detection limit was found to be 1.2Â ÃÂ 10â9Â M.
- The stability of the membrane was found to be 3 months without losing its sensitivity.
