Abstract
ⶠChloride environment can produce a dealuminization attack. ⶠThe corrosion behaviour is affected by the microstructure of the samples. ⶠIn the (β + γ2) microstructure, preferential dissolution of precipitates occurs. ⶠThe presence of γ2 precipitates seems to protect β matrix from dealloying.
