Abstract
ⶠLong nanosecond pulsed laser ablation of silicon at 1064 nm has been studied. ⶠMaterial removal occurs through vaporization followed by liquid ejection. ⶠEjected liquid front changes linearly with time. ⶠLiquid ejection is unlikely due to phase explosion.
