Abstract
ⶠThis research work highlights the effectiveness of an aqueous co precipitation method in a highly alkaline environment for doping of Mn into ZnO lattice as well as in situ capping of ZnO:Mn nanoparticles by MSA. ⶠMSA capping enhances the photoluminescence emission of ZnO:Mn nanoparticles. ⶠMSA capping renders the nanoparticles biofunctionalized for biological applications.
