Abstract
Multi-walled carbon nanotubes were modified by l-phenylalanine through green and simple procedure. In addition, novel amino acid functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (f-MWCNTs)/poly(amide-ester-imide) (PAEI) composites were fabricated by solution mixing method. The results show the nano scale and homogeneous dispersion of f-MWCNT in polymer matrix.
