Abstract
- ZnO nanorods are synthesized at room temperature via a simple chemical route.
- Growth direction of ZnO nanorods has been determined along ã0Â 0Â 2ã.
- ZnO nanorods constructed anode shows a high discharge capacity in first cycle.
- It retains good reversible capacity compared to other ZnO morphologies.
