Abstract
Dry film measurements and in situ temperature depending swelling experiments were performed by multiple angle of incidence (MAI) ellipsometry. The temperature phase transition in water solution induced by collapse of the polymer brushes was detected using ellipsometry. The ability of coatings consisting of complex polymer brushes to modify physicochemical interfacial properties depending on temperature is demonstrated.
