Abstract
- H-TiO2/H2O2 showed high activity compared to other systems.
- Hemin is anchored on TiO2 surface by OCOTi bond.
- The Fe3+ ion traps the electron and it gets detrapped to adsorbed O2 molecule.
- Enhanced activity at pH 3 is due to both TiO2 mediated and Fenton type of reaction.
