Abstract
► Thin films of metal porphyrins/TiO2 were formed cotton fabrics. ► Fe, Co and Zn complexes of meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin were applied. ► Metal porphyrins/TiO2-coated fabrics showed superior self-cleaning performance. ► FeTCPP/TiO2-coated fabric showed the highest photocatalytic activity.
