Abstract
⺠The wet-phase inversion method is used to prepare PSf nanocomposite membranes. ⺠SAXRD, TEM, SEM and FTIR techniques are used to characterize PSf nanocomposites. ⺠A complex intercalated/exfoliated morphology is formed by using low clay contents. ⺠By increasing clay content and PSf molar mass, mass loss is decreased. ⺠Mechanical properties are enhanced up to 4.0 mass% MMT addition.
