Abstract
► Potassium doping of a carbon nanocone containing material has been studied. ► Experimental techniques are photoemission and temperature programmed desorption. ► Hydrogen is adsorbed on the K doped material. ► The hydrogen desorption temperature increases by more than 100 K upon doping. ► An increased hydrogen uptake of about 40% is observed.
