Abstract
► BN coating was deposited on SiC fibers by CVI. ► After coated by BN, the tensile strength of SiC fiber bundles increased by 1.389%. ► After coated by BN, SiC fiber laminates had a great improvement of wave-absorbing ability with a minimum RC of −16.41 dB at 15.38 GHz.
