Abstract
► Effect of the mixture of ethanolamine and heptamethyldisilazane on the storage behavior of LiMn2O4 is investigated. ► The amorphous materials on the surface of LiMn2O4 were characterized in details by SEM and TEM. ► The mixture of ethanolamine and heptamethyldisilazane added into LiPF6-based electrolyte can stabilize the original morphology and spinel structure of LiMn2O4. ► The mixed additives can decrease Mn dissolution and reduce the content of λ-MnO2, MnF2 and LiF. ► The mixed additives can improve the initial discharge capacity and storage performance greatly.
