Abstract
⺠The hydrophilicity of porous PC membranes can be adjusted. ⺠Long-term stable surfaces are obtained. ⺠The resistance of porous PC membranes for caffeine can be tuned. ⺠Surface-water interaction has a major impact on the membrane permeability. ⺠Functional coatings can be post-modified to adapt its permeability resistances.
