Abstract
► The surface of a polylactic acid (PLLA) was coated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). ► MWCNT-coated PLLA showed remarkable higher wettability than uncoated PLLA. ► More Human osteosarcoma cell line (Saos2) adhered on the CNT-coated than those on uncoated PLLA at 2 h after seeding. ► MWCNT-coating on PLLA improved the surface wettability and initial cell attachment at early stage.
