Abstract
⺠PLLA film was fabricated using a hot melting process to a thickness of around 40-50 μm. ⺠Fabricated PLLA film contained amorphous and crystalline regions. ⺠Decomposition of the PLLA film began with surface erosion in human gastric juice. ⺠Gastric solution diffused into the swelling PLLA film for the next step of degradation.
