Abstract
- A white/gray Ru coating was achieved via electrodeposition from LiCl-KCl melt.
- Cathodic current efficiency (η) was increased as high as 99.68%.
- A dense and 8.5 μm thick Ru coating was possible to be grown after 2 h.
- “Faceted structure” was observed on the surface of Ru deposited at 3 and 7Â mA/cm2.
- The thickness of Ru increased with increasing both current density and time.
