Abstract
⺠Ferritin can form Ni nanoparticle inside its vacant cavity by biomineralization. ⺠Ni nanoparticles enable to crystallize a-Ge film. ⺠Crystalline quality was equivalent with that of conventional method. ⺠Ni contamination was reduced by more than one order of magnitude.
