Abstract
⺠4-Methyl-4H-1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thiol (4-MTTL) has been modified at the copper surface. ⺠SERS analysis indicated that 4-MTTL film was adsorbed on Cu surface via S6 and N2 atoms. ⺠The 4-MTTL film was proved to protect copper electrode from corrosion in KCl solution.
