Abstract
⺠RGO/BiOI nanocomposites were synthesized by a reverse microemulsion method. ⺠Quantum sized BiOI nanoparticles can be obtained by this approach. ⺠Ascorbic acid was used as a reducing agent to reduce GO and seemed to be effective. ⺠RGO/BiOI presented outstanding visible-light-induced photocatalytic performance. ⺠Possible photocatalytic mechanism was proposed based on the experimental studies.
