Abstract
⺠Degradation of hexa(ethylene glycol) SAMs within one week by exposure to natural light. ⺠High conformational stability of the SAMs over 3 months when they are stored in the dark. ⺠Conformational but not chemical changes of the SAMs by repeated reimmersion in EtOH.
