Abstract
⺠Online surface characterization of 8 reels of paper and paperboard was presented. ⺠Both sides of newspaper and uncoated and coated sides of paperboard were studied. ⺠Topography was analysed in a wide range of wavelength spectrum from 0.1 to 10 mm. ⺠Fine coated edge and middle position paperboard were successfully characterized. ⺠Adopted line-triangulation method can be a valuable application in paper industry.
