Abstract
► A film of packed Al2O3 nanospheres was fabricated on al foils for the first time. ► Superhydrophobicity and low adhesion are obtained on the nanostructures. ► Large-area condensation is restrained on fabricated superhydrophobic surface. ► Spherical condensates grow slightly and can be liquid without ice formation even at −10 °C on the surface.
