Abstract
► Highly stable colloidal dispersion of Ni nanostructures in ethylene glycol is achieved from NiCl2·6H2O by using tannic acid (TA) as reductant. ►The process does not require additional capping agent. Because TA acts as both capping and reducing agent. ► The morphology of Ni nanostructures is influenced by the concentration of TA.
