Abstract
⺠Effect of electrolyte chemistry on the properties of micro arc oxidized titania films was studied. ⺠The role of oxygen abundance in the electrolyte on anatase-to-rutile phase transformation was studied. ⺠The corrosion mechanism was explained by EIS equivalent circuit modeling. ⺠An appropriate electrolyte system was identified to develop corrosion resistant titania films on Cp Ti.
