Abstract
⺠Ripple morphology on GaAs is a promising topic of research. ⺠We report here the physical mechanism of ripple formation on GaAs sputtered by 60 keV Ar-ions at an angle of 60°. ⺠The results are described by the existing formalism of ripple pattern formation on surfaces.
