Abstract
⺠ZrAlN/ZrB2 multilayer has potential on quality in protective coatings. ⺠Modulation period gives a significant contribution to its properties. ⺠There is a critical modulation period for the hardest multilayer. ⺠The effects are related to interfacial nature and layer nonacrystalline.
