Abstract
- Fe3O4 NPs can be modified simultaneously by RAFT polymerization and click chemistry.
- The results showed that PEGMA was successfully grafted onto the surface of Fe3O4 NPs by RAFT polymerization and click coupling reaction.
- The functionalized Fe3O4 NPs have the larger saturation magnetization, which enables them very susceptible to magnetic fields and consequently makes the liquid phase separate easily.
