Abstract
► Ceramic coatings with high emission were fabricated on Ti6Al4V alloy by microarc oxidation (MAO). ► The influence of FeSO4 concentration on the spectral emission was studied. ► The bonding strength thermal shock resistance of the coatings were influenced by FeSO4 concentration. ► Coatings possessed high emission and good bonding strength, thermal shock resistance.
