Abstract
⺠We fabricate Fe-15Cr-2.5Ti-2C wt.% self-shielded metal cored hardfacing alloys with different boron additions. ⺠As the boron content exceeds 0.99 wt.%, the hardfacing alloy possesses excellent wear resistance. ⺠With the addition of boron, the average carbide diameter and the carbide volume fraction both increase.
