Abstract
⺠3D macroporous glass-ceramic scaffolds obtained by the sponge replication method. ⺠Scaffolds present excellent mechanical properties and moderate bioactivity. ⺠Scaffolds have been surface functionalized by the alkaline phosphatase enzyme (ALP). ⺠ALP maintains its activity after grafting. ⺠ALP improves and quickens hydroxyapatite precipitation on scaffold surface.
