Abstract
⺠S-doped WO3 powders were prepared by solid-state annealing method using thiourea as S precursor. ⺠The absorbance increases with the sulfur concentration of S-doped WO3 samples. ⺠S-doped WO3 powders were used for photocatalytic water splitting. ⺠S-doped samples exhibited higher levels of photocatalytic activity under ultraviolet and visible light irradiation.
