Abstract
⺠We prepare superhydrophobic titanium surfaces via electrochemical etching and fluorosilane modification that have stability and abrasion resistance. ⺠Ion activities take place in neutral solution can drive Ti dissolution without affecting the pH. ⺠Analysis of the electrolyte, reaction process, and products indicates that the electrochemical processing is harmless and environment-friendly.
