Abstract
ⶠThe slope of droplet volume versus laser energy line increases linearly with liquid film thickness. ⶠThe slope increase is attributed to the displacement of more liquid by the cavitation bubble. ⶠThe cavitation bubble generation is activated by a threshold independent of liquid film thickness.
