Abstract
ⶠPerylene molecule adsorbs uprightly with its long axis cross the dimer at the coverage of 0.5 mono layer. ⶠMolecule adsorbs uprightly with its short axis cross the dimer at the coverage of 1.0 monolayer. ⶠOrganic molecules adsorb forming a zigzag structure at the coverage of multi layers. ⶠWork function first decreases, then increases and finally stays constant with the minimum value at the coverage of 1ML. ⶠThe dipole, formed on the surface, contributes to the change in work function.
