Abstract
⺠Ultrafast electron dynamics following ionization of Gly-Gly-NH-CH3 are studied. ⺠Ionization spectra of two conformers of Gly-Gly-NH-CH3 are reported and analyzed. ⺠Hole charge created upon ionization migrates from one end to another in only few femtoseconds sec. ⺠In the migration process the charge jumps over an entire amino acid. ⺠It is found that the symmetry of the system facilitates the charge-migration process.
